Warsaw Man Arrested In Battery Case

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested after battering a woman while in the presence of three children.
Aaron Gustin Fuller, 30, 418 W. River Chase Drive, Warsaw, is charged with domestic battery with a child under 16 present and strangulation, both level 6 felonies; domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor; and criminal mischief, a class B misdemeanor.
On Nov. 26, 2020, a Warsaw Police officer responded to a report of a domestic incident. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with a woman at the scene.
According to court documents, the woman said she and Fuller had a disagreement and Fuller became angry. He allegedly slapped the woman across the face, causing her glasses to fall off. Fuller also used his arm to apply pressure to the woman’s neck, making it difficult for her to breathe.
Three children were present during the incident. At one point, one of the children tried to get Fuller to stop hurting the woman.
During the incident, Fuller threw an object at a door and broke glass. This resulted in a scratch on the nose of one of the children.
Fuller was arrested for this case on April 28, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
