Triton Baseball 17, Culver 5
The Trojans will celebrate into the night after winning its first game of the season against the Cavs.
Triton (1-7) scored seven runs out of the gate to overwhelm Culver, and poured it on with a 17-2 lead after four innings.
Brayden Cunningham had three hits and three runs scored to pace the Trojans, while Luke Kaufman and Isaac Lemler both had two hits, three runs scored and two RBI.
Dominic Smith allowed just one hit in four innings and struck out 10 in earning the pitching win.
Wawasee Baseball 11, Plymouth 3
Wawasee ran its win streak to three games with a big win at Plymouth.
Grant Brooks did the work on the bump, running his season mark to 3-1 with 5.2 innings of work, four hits, three walks and five strikeouts. He also drove in three runs at the plate, scored two runs and stole a base for good measure.
Parker Young added two doubles and three runs driven in and Kam Salazar reached base five times and scored five runs as the Warriors improved to 7-6 overall, 2-3 in the NLC.
