AKRON — Tippecanoe Valley High School FFA members beat out 15 other teams at an area livestock judging contest.

The team of Taylor Biddle, Mallory Bowers and Sydney Petersen placed first in the competition on Tuesday, April 20. Biddle also was ranked high individual among the 68 contestants.

Bowers was third high individual and Petersen was fourth high individual.

The girls next go on to the state contest on May 15.
