Valley Lands Seventh At Whitko Invite
Tippecanoe Valley saw Greg Miller land a top five Saturday at the Whitko Golf Invite.
Miler shot a 73 at Rock Hollow, good for third overall at the meet.
The Vikings shot a 381 team score, placing seventh overall in the field.
Scores for the Vikings included a 98 from Mason Purvis, 105 from Branson McBriar and Eli Love, and 114 from Johnny Gonsalez.

Tigers Also Seventh At Lake Central Invite, Sixth At Westfield
Warasw split its roster and sent half to Sandy Pines and the other half to Woodwind for a pair of high profile invitationals.
At Sandy Pines for the Lake Central Invite, four of the top five ranked teams in the state were on hand, and it showed with Guerin Catholic, one of the state’s elite, posting a 291 for the team title. Warsaw placed seventh of the 18 teams with its 329, led by Aidan Bowell’s 79. Jack Yeager and Lewis Turley each shot 83 and Tucker Carlile was one back at 84.
At Woodwind in Westfield, Hamilton Southeastern hung a 297 for team honors at the Westfield Invite. Jaxson Gould led the team with a 76 and Seth Hildebrand had a 78. Austin Craig added an 82 and Will Hall was one behind at 83 to compose the team’s sixth-place figure of 319.
Northridge Tops NorthWood At Plymouth JV Invite
Ridge shot a 369 to best NorthWood by 19 strokes to top the leaderboard at the Plymouth JV Invite at Pretty Lake Country Club.
The Raiders had the individual medalist in Landon Sorg, who shot an 85 to lead the field.
NorthWood was led by Ashton Hochstetler’s 92. Warsaw finished ninth at 424, paced by the 97 from David Lindquist. Wawasee was 14th at 488, Weston Delong carding a 111. Triton did not field a full score, but had a pair of 96s from Chandler Westafer and Connor Large.
