SYRACUSE — Puff’s Lounge, 201 E. Pickwick Drive, Suite C, is the latest venture of Michael Hensley and his business partner James Gebhart, and is physically connected to their premium cigar, vape and CBD business, Huff, Puff, N’ Stuff. In the same strip mall to the west is their fireworks store, Huff, Puff, Boom.

“This May 26 will be three years,” Hensley said of Huff, Puff, N’ Stuff, noting the attached cigar lounge developed in 2020.

With it being next to Huff, Puff, Boom, Hensley worked closely with the fire marshal to ensure they could safely and responsibly put the lounge there. By Labor Day, Hensley and Gebhart were committed to launching the lounge and construction started in October.

“We opened in time for Super Bowl Sunday,” he said, adding Thursday, April 15, the day of the Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting for the business, would be the official opening.

The lounge features a pool table, card table and matching conference table with executive chairs, an 85-inch TV with reclining leather theater seating, Wi-Fi, beverage cooler, ice machine, coffee pot, microwave and reverse osmosis water. Members can also enjoy their own humidity and temperature-controlled locker for storing cigars, libations and personal items.

Most of these furniture pieces in addition to Huff, Puff, N’ Stuff’s products, such as its line of CBD products, have been sourced locally, with Hensley stating, “It is important to us to support small businesses.”

People can come to the space to relax, play cards or pool and enjoy big fights and other major sporting events on the television. “We are planning some expansions during the summer. There will also be some summer events.”

Hensley shared some planned events include visits from cigar reps and microbreweries.

Of course, lounge visitors will also be able to browse Huff, Puff, N’ Stuff’s stock, including its newly completed walk-in humidor.

“I like to think we have a very respectable selection of cigars,” Hensley said.

Puff’s Lounge is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
