Kosciusko County To Organize A ‘First Year 4-H Family Night’
News Release
WARSAW – Kosciusko County Purdue Extension has planned to organize a “first year 4-H family night” with the mission to help families get started in their 4-H journey. The event will take place from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, April 22, at 202 W. Main St., Warsaw.
The extension office staff believes community engagement is what the 4-H program thrives on and providing a networking opportunity to families who are new to the program is the first step to a safe, fun and successful experience. The event is free of charge.
There will be an informational parent meeting to discuss topics such as project requirements, important deadlines and enrollment assistance, among other things. There will also be a hands-on learning experience for the new 4-H members that will be led by current 4-H members.
The evening is dedicated to helping new families be successful and address any questions they may have.
RSVP to the extension office or on the Kosciusko County 4-H Facebook page by April 20.
