IHSAA Boys Basketball State Finals scoreboard for Saturday, April 3.
Class 1-A
Barr-Reeve 64, Kouts 48
Barr-Reeve wins its second title, led by Curt Hopf’s 23 points and 19 rebounds. Teammate Jamison Miller was named the Mental Attitude Award winner for the Vikings (29-2). For Kouts (29-3), Cole Wireman has 21 points.
Class 2-A
Fort Wayne Blackhawk 55, Parke Heritage 40
The Braves (28-3) won its second title in three years, led by Mental Attitude Award winner Caleb Furst’s 20 points, seven rebounds and six blocks. Parke (27-4) had Connor Davis lead its first title appearance with 18 points and nine rebounds.
Class 3-A
Silver Creek 50, Leo 49
Silver Creek (25-4) won its second title in three years with a nailbiter over the Lions (24-5). Kooper Jacobi, the Mental Attitude Award winner, led the Creek with 18 points and 18 rebounds. Blake Davison scored 20 points for the Lions.
Class 4-A
Carmel 51, Lawrence North 46 OT
The Greyhounds (26-2) won its fourth title since 2012 with an overtime victory over its Metro Conference rivals. Brian Waddell had 20 points and 10 rebounds for Carmel, with teammate Connor Gioia named the Mental Attitude Award winner. CJ Gunn led Lawrence (28-3) with 18 points.
