News Release
WINONA LAKE – World Compassion Network’s 13th Annual Run for Hunger 5K took place Saturday, March 27, in Winona Lake.
More than 185 participants showed up for the cause while keeping COVID protocols in place.
This year’s event raised over $7,000 in net proceeds.
Over the years, this event has raised more than $130,000 with more than 8000 people and businesses participating.
All of the net proceeds go directly into programs and organizations that help feed the suffering in our area.
WCN will begin distributing the funds to organizations and programs that are on the front line of meeting our community’s most urgent needs.
“From all of us at World Compassion Network, we say thank you for being the light during a difficult time,” the statement said.
