NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. – The spring season officially got underway for Grace’s men’s golf team on Monday and Tuesday.

The Lancers competed at the Garn Championship, placing 11th at Keene Trace Golf Club in Kentucky.

Noah Wright was Grace’s top finisher with a two-round score of 164. His first-round 79 was Grace’s best round of the tournament.

Payton Kelly carded an 82-85 to finish second on the squad, and Parker Wilburn was not far behind at 81-89.

Tristen Dubbs (181) and Blake Lawson (192) rounded out Grace’s top five in the event.

Chase Byron (80-92) and Luke Delp (86-93) also made their spring debuts for Grace, playing as individuals in the tournament.

The Lancers’ next scheduled tournament is April 12-13 with the Sagamore Shootout played at The Sagamore Club.
