Wabash County Gears Up For Spring CDL Course

WABASH – A Wabash County group and Ivy Tech are teaming up to offer a hybrid training course starting in April for those seeking a Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
The course takes place over three weeks and includes a combination of online training, group instruction and individual driving time with an instructor. To qualify for this program, applicants must be at least 18 years of age and must possess a valid driver’s license without any violations within the last year.
Grow Wabash County scholarships are available for Wabash County residents to cover the expenses of this course thanks to the generous support provided by the Community Foundation of Wabash County. Scholarship applications can be found here.
An onboarding specialist will help participants acquire other necessary documentation required for licensure including Department of Transportation physical, Federal Drug test, CDL permit and DMV driver’s report.
