WARSAW –The Winter swim session has officially come to a close for the Warsaw Aquatic Club.
WAC’s dedicated coaches, Chris LaLonde and Eric Molhler, advanced two swimmers, Caelin and Cannon Swinehart, to the Indiana Age Group State Championships this past weekend. The brother duo had an impressive meet while representing team WAC.
Caelin dropped exactly 1.36 sec from both his 100 and 50 breaststroke events, placing him seventh and 12th in the state respectively for the 11-12 age group.
Cannon shaved .54 of a second off his 50 breaststroke placing him 13th in state for the 10U age group.
The Swinehart brothers, along with the rest of their teammates, will be diving back into the water, after a short break, on April 19, when the Spring/Summer swim session begins.
WAC’s flourishing team is also looking to add new swimmers this summer. Registration for the Spring/Summer session begins March 24th.
