INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana has expanded eligibility for COVID-19 vaccines to the age of 40, and more significant changes in state policy could come this afternoon when Gov. Holcomb offers an update on the pandemic.
The Indiana Department of Health announced the minimum age would be lowered to 40 at 8 a.m. Monday, March 22.

Additional groups under age 40 will be added as more vaccine becomes available, the state has said.
Meanwhile, more changes could be announced late Monday afternoon when Gov. Holcomb is expected to provide an update on the state’s policies. You can see the event live on the governor’s website.
