Two From Troop 726 Recognized For Eagle Scout Rank

WARSAW — Two teens who achieved Eagle Scout rank were presented with certificates at the Kosciusko County commissioners meeting Tuesday, March 16.
Charles (Charlie) Sexton and Megan Harris are members of Troop 726, chartered by the North Webster United Methodist Church.
Charlie is a freshman at Warsaw High School. He earned his Eagle rank on Jan. 21, 2021. His parents are Amy Sexton and the late Edward Sexton.
Charlie has been in Troop 726 since 2016 and was in Cub Scouts for four years prior. He is currently in Troop 726B. Charlie is in the Warsaw Jr. ROTC program.
Megan is a senior at Churubusco High School. She is a founding member of Troop 726G that was formed in February 2019 when the BSA allowed for female Scouts to join.
Megan is the first female Eagle Scout in Northeast Indiana and is in the inaugural class of female Eagle Scouts in the U.S.
Prior to joining Scouts BSA, she was a member of a Venture Crew (a co-ed program in the BSA) for two years. She is the daughter of Mark and Mandi Harris. She is in the Churubusco New Era Show Choir where she has been a member during her four years in high school. Megan earned her Eagle Scout rank on Jan. 21.
Scott Fox is the Scoutmaster for Troop 726B and the Chartered Organization Representative for 726G. Heather Van Ness is the Scoutmaster for Troop 726G.
