Leasure, Cumberland Named All-TRC

AKRON – The Three Rivers Conference followed suit with many of its neighboring conferences by releasing its 2020-21 boys basketball All-TRC selections.
Tippecanoe Valley had two of the 25 selections, with Paul Leasure was named First Team All-TRC and Nolan Cumberland was named Honorable Mention All-TRC.
League champ Rochester (9-0) had three named First Team in Grant McCarter, Kyle Reinartz and Quin Stesiak. Tarick McGlothin was named Rochester’s Honorable Mention pick.
Whitko and Manchester were both 7-2 and tied for second, the Wildcats with Brett Sickafoose and Drake Lewis named First Team and Aiden Hoffman as Honorable Mention, the Squires with Weston Hamby and Max Carter named All-TRC and Maddox Zolman named Honorable Mention.
Completing the First Team picks are Maconaquah’s Hayden Maiben and Brayden Betzner, Northfield’s Clayton Tomlinson, Peru’s Matt Ross and Trey Curtis, Southwood’s Carson Rich and Wabash’s Joe Leland.
Honorable Mentions also went to Nolan Kelly of Maconaquah, Keagan Donaldson of North Miami, Jayden Peas of Northfield, Kade Townsend of Peru, Cole Winer of Southwood and Jasper Walters of Wabash.
Standings for the 2020-21 TRC season finished Rochester at 9-0, Manchester and Whitko at 7-2, Peru at 6-3, Southwood at 5-4, Maconaquah at 4-3, Northfield at 3-6, Tippecanoe Valley and Wabash at 2-7 and North Miami at 0-9.
