Driver Slams Into House After Apparent Hit-And-Run

WARSAW – A car plowed into a house on East Center Street, Warsaw, in what two witnesses said was a hit-and-run accident Tuesday night, March 9.
The accident happened around 5 p.m. just east of the Blosser’s Photo Design Center parking lot.
A woman in a red Kia was apparently headed east on Center Street when her car was struck by a gray Jeep, according to two witnesses.
The Kia then ran into the northwest corner of a house at 1010 E. Center St., causing extensive damage to the front end.
A tenant who lives upstairs said the impact shook the entire apartment building.
Two witnesses said the Jeep then headed east.
The extent of the woman’s injuries did not appear to be serious.
No other details were immediately available.
