Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 11:12 p.m. Thursday, March 4, East CR 1000N, Syracuse. Driver: Tana K. Birch, 53, North Channel Drive, Syracuse. Birch swerved to avoid striking a deer that entered the roadway. Her vehicle went off the road and struck a tree. Damage up to $10,000.
- 9:09 a.m. Thursday, March 4, South CR 325E, Warsaw. Drivers: Kevin D. Stuckman, 22, Linda Lane, Columbia City; and Amy L. Mort, 48, East CR 900S, Claypool. Stuckman’s vehicle rear-ended Mort’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
- 6:11 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, West CR 25S, Warsaw. Driver: Ronald S. Follmer, 48, South CR 900W, Etna Green. Follmer’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $10,000.
- 5:42 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, Old Road 30, Warsaw. Driver: Kim E. Hill, 58, North CR 875W, Etna Green. Hill’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 5:23 p.m. Thursday, March 4, North Parker Street, north of Husky Trail, Warsaw. Drivers: Joseph C. Dials, 19, Oak Street, Warsaw; and Ryan A. Reed, 38, Parker Street, Warsaw. Dials was driving north on Parker Street when he reached for something on the floor of his vehicle and crossed over into the other lane, striking Reed’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
- 7:16 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, SR 14 and CR 600W, Rochester. Driver: Stephanie L. Wilson, 36, Rochester. Hit deer.
- 6:16 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, West Olson Road and Kent Drive, Rochester. Driver: Donovan C. Hester, 32, Rochester. Hester’s vehicle struck a tree. Possible knee injury.
