WARSAW — More than 1,100 people in Kosciusko County have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
An estimated 4,590 people in Kosciusko County have been administered their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. More than 143,000 Hoosiers are considered to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Kosciusko County remains at 85 COVID-19 deaths and now has 8,215 positive cases.
Statewide, the Indiana Department of Health website shows the number of COVID-19 deaths in Indiana rose to 9,613.
The total positive number of reported COVID-19 cases in Indiana is now at 628,391. More than 7,039,000 COVID-19 tests have been administered to Hoosiers.
Locally, Fulton County has 1,690 positive cases, Wabash County has 3,131 positive cases and Whitley County has 3,229 positive cases. Marshall County has 5,185 positive cases, Noble County has 4,849 positive cases and Elkhart County has 24,715.
In other northern Indiana counties, Lake County has 46,550 positive cases, which is up from 46,196 reported on Friday, Jan. 29; Allen County has 33,776 positive cases, which is up from 33,482 reported on Friday; and St. Joseph County has 28,004 positive cases.
According to the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, more than 441,000 people in the United States have died due to COVID-19.
