February Events With The Warsaw Community Public Library

WARSAW — The following events are happening at the Warsaw Community Public Library in February.
Virtual events with the library can be found on WCPL’s Facebook page, YouTube Channel, Google Meet or Zoom. Please register for events that require registration in advance. On-site events will only be offered if the library building is open. Social distancing and face coverings are required in accordance with state guidelines to enter the library. Storytime live will be held at 11 a.m. each Monday on Facebook. Bedtime stories will occur at 7 p.m. on Thursdays on Facebook.
Local author interview with Kelly Mager will occur on Facebook Live or YouTube at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2. Learn more about Mager’s new book, “15 Ways for New Moms to Manage Stress and Stay Sane.”
Learn how to make a welcome sign at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3 on Facebook or YouTube.
Learn about popular painting techniques during Fab or Fail at 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 5 on YouTube and Facebook.
Pick up a children’s craft kit while supplies last. Kits will be available starting Feb. 9 and Feb. 23.
Kids Write is for children ages 5-12 who enjoy writing and illustrating. This is held on Google Meet at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9. Advance registration is required.
Learn how to play the game Carcassonne: The Discovery during Unbox the LOT at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10 on Facebook and YouTube.
Learn the history of President’s Day with Dr. Bookenstein at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12 on YouTube and Facebook Live.
WorkOne will host Computer Basics at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12. Job Applications with WorkOne will occur at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12. Advance registration is required for both of these events.
Teens can learn how to weave straw bracelets or bookmarks on Facebook at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16.
WorkOne will host Word Basics at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19. Keyboarding with WorkOne will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19. Advance registration is required for both of these events.
Join Sue Delagrange online for pH Diet at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22. Advance registration is required.
Join teens and families across the country with author Ryan La Sala as he discusses his new book “Be Dazzled” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23 via Zoom. Advance registration is required.
Excel Basics with WorkOne will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 26. Advance registration is required.
The Friends of the Library Story Emporium Bookstore will be open from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27.
