“I’d say this was our best meet of the season,” started Wawasee head coach Molly Liston. “So proud of these girls.”
Among Liston’s optimism came a pair of no-fall beam routines from Emma Ebright and Olivia Ousley, who scored 7.65 and 7.7, respectively. Also on beam was Talia Kuhl, who tied for first in the meet with an 8.55, matching Angola’s Audrey Wilkinson.
Kuhl was also second on vault at 8.5 and Ebright just missed third on floor, scoring 8.3, a half point behind Angola’s Sarah Hutchins.
Emma Schoenherr led the way for the Hornets on vault (9.1) and floor (9.2), and Wilkinson paced the bars (9.5) along with the tie on beam.
NorthWood’s Emilee Conrad scored 5.5 on bars, 6.25 on beam and 7.35 on floor.
Plymouth 94.75, New Prairie 83.1, Warsaw 50.3
In a mixed meet between a half dozen programs and athletes, Plymouth amassed the highest point total in the gymnastics meet in Plymouth.
Top individuals from the meet included Plymouth’s Tessa Hutchinson, who scored 8.95 on floor, 8.9 on vault, 8.9 on beam and 7.9 on bars. Teammate Dorothy Karris added an 8.9 on floor and 8.35 on beam.
Warsaw had Brooke Bolinger score 8.1 on vault and 8.4 on beam and Julianne Olson post 7.25 on floor and 7.7 on vault.
New Prairie had Anna Jasnieski score 8.5 on vault and 8.3 on floor and Molly Lenig add an 8.6 on vault and 7.25 on beam.
Morgan Township’s Kaitlin Whitaker scored a 33.1 all-around, her top score a 9.0 on beam.
Rochester had Maddy Brouyette had a top score of 7.65 on floor and an all-around total of 27.65.
Bremen’s Raven White had a 7.3 on vault.
