Pets Of The Week
Press Release
PIERCETON — Pets of the Week are available for adoption at the Animal Welfare League, located at 1048 S. CR 325E, Pierceton.
Ruger
Watch out, we got an incoming hug missile. It’s Ruger! He is a six-year-old, neutered, male Boxer/American Staffordshire mix. He has a solid chocolate-colored coat and weighs 73 pounds. Ruger is a social butterfly who loves meeting new people, playing outside and going for long walks. Ruger may come off as a tough guy, but he’s just a big softie and believes that he is a lap dog. He would prefer to be an only pet and does best with children older than 12 as he is very strong and loves to give big hugs. Ruger is hoping to be adopted by an active family that can keep up with his energy level and give him lots of exercise. Call to make an appointment to meet Ruger today.
Ruger’s adoption fee is $105.
Lovey Dovey
We have to admit it. Lovey Dovey is a conundrum. We have a sneaking suspicion that he is not a house cat, but in fact a tiny panther. Lovey is a four-year-old, neutered, male Domestic Shorthair mix. He has a jet black coat and yellow eyes; he also weighs 12 pounds. This large and in charge boy spends most days patrolling the AWL free roaming cat room. While Lovey Dovey enjoys head scratches and belly rubs, every now and then he lets people know that he’s the boss. He will let out what he considers a roar (it’s actually a little hiss) and saunter off to other activities. Lovey does well with other cats and people of all ages. Call to make an appointment to visit with Lovey Dovey today.
Lovey’s adoption fee is $75.
