Salvation Army Says Thanks
Dear Editor,
The year 2020 marked the 99th annual Christmas Campaign for The Salvation Army in Kosciusko County.
We appreciate all the volunteers, clubs, churches and organizations who helped us exceed our goal of $42,000 by raising $49,111.44 by ringing bells!
In addition, we had $11,000 in challenge monies given. We thank Walmart, Kroger, Neighborhood Fresh Markets in North Webster and Syracuse and Marathon in Milford for allowing us to ring in front of their businesses. There were also 50 establishments that had Counter Kettles near their registers to help us collect funds as well. Through this effort, we were able to help 174 families with 385 children through Angel Tree and will be able to provide assistance to Others throughout this new year. We look forward to our 100th year of service in Kosciusko County and pray God’s blessing in 2021! Again, thank you!
