Triton Girls 41, Manchester 35
Triton (5-9) found some home magic to end a five-game losing streak Thursday night in knocking out Manchester.
Lexia Hostrawser had one of her bigger nights of the season, posting 16 points and pulling down five points to lead the Trojans. Kinsey Atkins and Taren Yates combined to commit 18 turnovers, but made up for it with 11 steals, seven assists, five rebounds and 17 points.
Eva Bazzoni notched 12 points, five steals and two assists and Morgan Parrett added 11 points.
Goshen Girls 41, Wawasee 14
Goshen held total control of the Northern Lakes Conference contest at the Hardwood Teepee.
While Dayton University commit Brynn Shoup-Hill only had five points, the Goshen defense was suffocating in allowing Wawasee just one field goal in the first half while Goshen built a 21-3 lead.
Megan Gallagher led Goshen with 12 points. Kennedy White had six points in Wawasee’s (3-7, 1-2 NLC) scoring column.
Goshen claimed the JV game in a 30-25 final. Emma Lowery and Brooklynn Gibson combined for 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Warriors.
Northfield Girls 67, Tippecanoe Valley 48
Northfield handed Valley its first Three Rivers Conference loss Thursday night in rural Wabash.
A 24-4 third quarter was the drive the Norse needed to pull away, a game that was 30-25 Northfield at the half.
Sidney Wagner and Kaydence Mellott each had 16 points for Valley (7-6, 2-1 TRC), Northfield however holding Wagner to just four field goals. Lily Ault added three treys for Valley in the loss.
Kyra Kennedy scored 18 points to lead Northfield, with Kearston Stout at 16 points, Addi Baker at 15 points, Kenzie Baer at 10 points and Emma Hoover with eight points.
Northfield won the JV contest 39-19. Rily Holloway had nine of the 19 points produced by the Vikings.
