WARSAW — All but one local government office will be closed on Christmas Eve day, Thursday, Dec. 24.

Except for Nappanee, all other non-emergency government offices are closed Thursday and Friday in observance of the Christmas holiday. Nappanee offices will be open until noon.

But what about trash pickup?

• In the city of Warsaw, Thursday’s trash route will be picked up on Wednesday, Dec. 23.  Friday’s trash route will be picked up on Monday, Dec. 28.
• Nappanee’s Friday trash route will be picked up Saturday.
• Leesburg’s trash pickup normally scheduled for Friday will be collected Saturday.
• Etna Green’s trash normally picked up on Friday will be done so on Saturday.

Trash routes in the towns of Winona Lake, Mentone, Syracuse, Milford, North Webster, Pierceton, Claypool and Silver Lake will remain as normal, according to checks with each towns.
