Claypool
Officers with the Claypool Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 3:53 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, Sixth Street east of College Avenue, Winona Lake. Drivers: Kandi S. Dunham, 67, South Nutmeg Road, Argos, and Steven W. Light, 74, East Masters Lane, Warsaw. Dunham was traveling eastbound on Sixth Street approaching College Avenue, Winona Lake. She said she was not from the area and was looking at her GPS. She went to go around Light’s vehicle she thought was parked. His vehicle was not parked, and her vehicle hit Light’s. Damage up to $5,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, Backwater Road and South Main Street, North Webster. Drivers: Wesley R. Hays, 17, EMS W20 Lane, North Webster, and Shane Oberdorf, 22, Garr Drive, Buchanan, Mich. Hays was traveling westbound on Backwater Road when he approached Oberdorf’s vehicle stopped at the intersection of Backwater Road and South Main Street, North Webster. His vehicle hit Oberdorf’s. Damage up to $2,500.
Pierceton
Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 3:25 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, SR 13, Pierceton. Drivers: Anthony J. McKenzie, 32, West Walnut Street, Pierceton, and Garold L. Robinson, 34, East Center Street, Sidney. McKenzie was traveling southbound on SR 13, Pierceton. His vehicle was following Robinson’s. He didn’t see that Robinson stopped his vehicle, and his vehicle hit Robinson’s. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 8:01 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, North Harrison Street and East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Rebecca J. Castillo, 44, South Logan Street, Warsaw, and Amanda L. Inskeep-Shelton, 44, West CR 250S, Warsaw. Castillo was traveling northbound on Harrison Street entering the intersection of East Center Street, Warsaw. She traveled through the intersection and realized the light was red. Her vehicle hit Inskeep-Shelton’s. Inskeep-Shelton complained of pain in her face, neck and hand. Damage up to $10,000.
