CCAC To Suspend Operations Through February
Press Release
WARSAW – The City-County Athletic Complex (CCAC) has announced it will shut down the facility and its activities through the end of February.
Beginning Dec. 1 and on through Feb. 28, the CCAC will be closed. In a statement from CCAC Executive Director Karl Swihart:
“We will be taking precautions due to the increase in COVID-19 cases around the county, along with the restrictions on attendees at indoor venues. We have also based this decision on being fiscally responsible as well.
“The CCAC Board feels this is the right thing to do at this time. With the rise in positive cases and the activities we conduct this winter indoors, we feel this decision was necessary for the safety of our participants and staff. The CCAC also had a record loss this year in revenue due to the COVID related cancellations. Our goal is to take this time for everyone’s safety and to return in March strong and ready for the next season.
“The public will still be able to reach us through email or phone.”
