Bowen Center Test Site Moving To Fairgrounds

WARSAW — The Bowen Center’s free COVID-19 test site is moving to the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds to help meet the growing need.
Starting Monday, Nov. 23, the drive-through site will be at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds Shrine Building, 1400 E. Smith St., Warsaw.
The testing site has seen demand rise sharply since it opened in mid-October. The facility is intended to remain active through June.
The site is operated by Bowen Center in partnership with the Indiana Department of Health and the Kosciusko County Health Department with assistance from the Northern Indiana Hispanic Health Coalition, Ivy Tech Community College Warsaw, Kosciusko Community Hospital and WJ Carey Construction.
Testing is available at the site from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
The site will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26; Friday, Nov. 27, Christmas Eve, Dec. 24; Christmas Day, Dec. 25; New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31; and New Year’s Day, Jan. 1.
Tests are free and available to anyone two years old and up. A doctor’s referral and insurance are not needed. Those who need testing also do not have to reside in Kosciusko County. Technicians are bilingual in both Spanish and English.
