Tigers, Cavemen Headline All-NLC Football

GOSHEN – In a unique year with even more unique circumstances, the Northern Lakes Conference proudly issued its 2020 football All-Conference lists.
Warsaw and Mishawaka would end up running 6-1 in the conference to split the team title, the Tigers getting their games all in during the regular season and Mishawaka using a sectional game against Goshen to pick up its sixth win. Northridge finished 5-2, followed by NorthWood (3-2), Concord (2-4), Plymouth (1-3), Wawasee (1-6) and Goshen (0-5) in a season that saw ‘contact tracing’ really take a toll on programs.
For the Tigers, First Team All-NLC went to Caden Silveus, Mason Martz, Julius Jones, Juan Jaramillo, Aaron Greene and Luke Adamiec. Honorable Mentions for Warsaw included Zach DeFord, Colton Wampler and Patrick Zollinger. Head coach Bart Curtis shared the Coach of the Year award with Mishawaka’s Keith Kinder.
Mishawaka had Tyler Ackerly, Beau Brown, Milan Burris, Justin Fisher, Andrew Mason, DaVonn Parker and Jayden Semak all make All-NLC and Connor Addison, Aiden Hooton and Ethan Nowacki earn Honorable Mention.
NorthWood had Ethan Evers, Eddie Hildebrant, Kaden Lone and Kyle Sellers make All-NLC and Joas Miller and Beau Stankovich make Honorable Mention.
Wawasee had Dominic Blair and Kam Salazar make All-NLC and Nathan Larson earn Honorable Mention.
Rounding out the All-NLC choices were Northridge’s Breckin Judd, Ibrahim Khaoucha, Dom Crowder, Logan Hooley and Zach Howey; Concord’s Jack D’Arcy, Anthony Ernest, Zaven Koltookian and Brenden Stockman; Plymouth’s Owen Bockman and Jacob Reichard; and Goshen’s Isaac Sawatzky and Colin Turner.
Rounding out the Honorable Mention All-NLC choices were Northridge’s Clint Walker, Carter Bach and Mason Puckett; Concord’s JenDariun Green and Amarion Moore; Plymouth’s Daniel Bacon; and Goshen’s Brayden Hinkel.
