Seven Vikings Adorn All-TRC Football Squad

AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley once again finished near the top of the Three Rivers Conference football standings, and were honored with seven selections on the All-Conference lists.
The Vikings, at 6-2 and in a tie with Peru and Northfield for second, had Jamasyn Virgil, Wade Melanson and Rex Kirchenstien named All-TRC on the offensive side, and DJ Estep and Johnny Gonsalez named All-TRC on the defensive side. Branson McBrier and Hunter Eherenman were both tabbed as Honorable Mentions for the Vikings.
Whitko (3-5) had Cade Berg and Isaiah Kyles named All-TRC and Drake Lewis and Braxton Coburn named Honorable Mention.
Manchester (2-6) had Seth Gaerte, Jacob Caudill, Kaiden Pence, Peyton Addair and Dylan Stroud all named All-TRC and Braxton Ream and Johnny England named Honorable Mention.
Champion Southwood (7-0) tops the list with Alex Farr, Logan Barley, Carson Rich, Memphis Hiner, Dawson Filip, Conner Rich and Elijah Sutton all chosen All-TRC and Jason Oprisek and Tristin Hayslett named Honorable Mention.
Wrapping up the All-TRC First Team were Northfield’s (6-2) Logan Cox, Micah Higgins, Jacob Snyder, Alex Haupert and Clayton Tomlinson; Wabash’s (4-3) Joseph Leland, Bryant Boggs, Cash Carmichael, Chad Wyatt and Isaiah Eis; Peru’s (6-2) Levi Strong, Draven Waters, Sam Makowski, Dakota Scarlett and Zachary Johnson; Maconaquah’s (4-3) Carter Little, Colin Deckard and Nolan Kelly; Rochester’s (0-7) Marshall Fishback and Noah Swango; and North Miami’s (0-8) Darian Hanley.
Honorable Mentions included Maconaquah’s Richie Leary and Jared Blake, Northfield’s Jarret Shafer and Ethan Galbraith, North Miami’s Lincoln Wildermuth and Seth Ireland, Peru’s Jack Buckley and Brayden Masters, Rochester’s Alex Deming and Brady Beck and Wabash’s Keegan O’Neill and Antonio Grant.
