Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:
- 5:14 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2771 South SR 25 east of South CR 400W, Warsaw. Driver: Brandon L. Seyer, 43, North Franklin Street, Mentone. Seyer was traveling westbound on SR 25, Warsaw, when he left the road, hit several mailboxes, hit and broke off a railroad post and struck a fence and pole. Police believe Seyer was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 6:39 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, East Center Street and North Indiana Street, Warsaw. Driver: Unknown and Kayla M. Kessay, 28, Clinic Court, Warsaw. Kessay said she was traveling eastbound on East Center Street near the intersection of North Indiana Street, Warsaw, when an unknown driver attempted to pass her vehicle from the rear and hit her vehicle. The first driver left the scene of the accident. Damage up to $2,500.
- 4:55 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, North SR 15 and East Main Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Stacy L. Cowles, 42, North Main Street, Etna Green, and Dana M. Teeter, 40, South Colfax Street, Warsaw. Cowles was traveling southbound on North Detroit Street near the intersection of East Main Street, Warsaw. She was going to turn west on East Main Street, but the light turned red and Cowles was unable to stop her vehicle in time. Her vehicle hit Teeter’s. Damage up to $5,000.
