County Sees Four New COVID-19 Deaths

WARSAW — Kosciusko County has seen four new COVID-19 deaths. This brings the county’s total number of deaths to 29.
In total, according to the Indiana Department of Health website, the county has 2,103 positive cases, which is up from 1,820 reported on Thursday, Oct. 22.
The Fulton County Health Department also recently reported three additional COVID-19 deaths, bringing the county’s total to six. The deaths occurred on Oct. 23, Oct. 24, and Oct. 26. Fulton County has 395 positive cases, which is up from 352 reported on Thursday, Oct. 22.
Marshall County Health Department also reported an additional COVID-19 death, bringing the county’s total to 28. The death occurred on Oct. 24. Marshall County has 1,490 positive cases, which is up from 1,374 reported on Thursday.
Statewide, the latest posting on the Indiana Department of Health website shows the number of COVID-19 deaths in Indiana rose to 3,958, which is up from 3,831 reported on Thursday.
The total positive number of COVID-19 cases in Indiana is now at 166,564. More than 2,754,000 COVID-19 tests have been administered to Hoosiers.
Locally, Wabash County has 459 positive cases, which is up from 411 reported on Thursday; and Whitley County has 492 positive cases, which is up from 455 reported on Thursday. Noble County has 1,245 positive cases and Elkhart County has 9,402, which is up from 8,759 reported on Thursday.
In other northern Indiana counties, Lake County has 14,627 positive cases, which is up from 13,570 reported on Thursday; St. Joseph County has 9,725 positive cases, which is up from 9,145 reported on Thursday; and Allen County has 8,741 positive cases, which is up from 8,129 reported on Thursday.
According to the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, more than 3,460,000 people in the United States have recovered from COVID-19.
