Champion Pilgrims Headline All-NLC Soccer

GOSHEN – Plymouth’s undefeated run through the Northern Lakes Conference not only led to a boys soccer title, but a host of athletes named to the All-Conference list.
The champions, led by Coach of the Year Grant Masson, had Selvin Pagoada, Jose Rosas, Ivan Turcios, Alex Baca and Marco Diaz as All-NLC and teammates Fernando Pacheco, Adrian Cardona and Eddie Mendoza as Honorable Mention All-NLC. Plymouth went unblemished at 7-0 overall.
Northridge finished second at 5-1-1, with Cam Chappell, Carter Stoltzfus, Clay Stoltzfus, Jamon Christner and Drew Collins named All-NLC and Micah Wieland and Trevor Brown both named Honorable Mention All-NLC.
NorthWood and Concord both concluded at 3-2-2 and tied for third. The Panthers got a quartet honored as All-NLC in Sebastian Guillen, Andre De Freitas, Andrew Graber and Chase Duerksen and the Minutemen had Andres Dixon, Yordy Amaya-Diaz and Jaime Barajas also named All-NLC. Honorables for the two teams included Joey Eshelman and Kayden Newcomer for NorthWood and Jose Martinez Hernandez and Gadiel Montiel were chosen for the Minutemen.
Goshen (3-3-1) saw Ricardo Garcia, Marlin Garcia and Fernando Quevedo make All-NLC and Eduardo Alvarez as Honorable Mention.
Wawasee (2-4-1) had the duo of Niles Hodges and Ethan Carey chosen as All-NLC and Jace Mishler named Honorable Mention.
Mishawaka’s inaugural year in the NLC (1-6) yielded Creed Roschyk as All-NLC and Connor George as Honorable Mention.
Warsaw (0-6-1) had Ethan Grill and Dennis Hernandez picked as All-NLC and Alejandro Murillo named Honorable Mention.
