WARSAW — The Law Office of John D. Barrett is proud to announce the addition of Attorney Brian D. Pyle. 

Barrett has been practicing law in Kosciusko County for almost 17 years in the areas of criminal defense, family law and personal injury. Pyle has a bachelor’s degree in agriculture and a second bachelor’s degree in forestry from Purdue University. Pyle graduated with a law degree from Ohio Northern University in December 2019 and was sworn in as an attorney in September 2020. 

Pyle served in the military and is a combat veteran of the Afghanistan campaign as well as other Department of Defense overseas assignments. Pyle also serves on the board for the Kosciusko Purdue Extension.

Pyle is new to the legal community but is not new to life’s adversities. Pyle is a long-time resident of Mentone. He is looking forward to learning from Barrett’s experiences and guidance. He wanted to continue to help and serve people and that’s why Pyle wanted to become a lawyer. 

Barrett stated, “I am extremely excited about Brian joining our office. His military and life experiences make him a great fit to join our team. His love and interest for agriculture and property law will enable us to expand into those areas. Brian has a genuine affection for our community, and he is very community service oriented. For these reasons, we are extremely excited to have Brian become a part of our team.”
