WARSAW — Candidates for Kosciusko Superior Court 3 judge and state representative positions will be debating this evening in a virtual candidate forum from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14. The forums will be broadcasted online on BoxCast.

This is the first of two online debates happening this week. Chad Miner, Republican Superior Court 3 Judge candidate; and Antony Garza, Democratic Superior Court 3 Judge candidate, will be the first debate tonight.

Following the judicial debate, several state representative candidates will also debate in the forum, including Curt Nisly, Republican State Representative District 22 candidate (incumbent); Kelly Thompson, Democratic State Representative District 22 candidate; Craig Snow, Republican State Representative District 18 candidate; and Chad Harris, Democratic State Representative District 18 candidate.

District 22 includes parts of Warsaw and Winona Lake, as well as the towns of Leesburg, Mentone, Milford, Nappanee, North Webster and Syracuse. District 18 also includes parts of Warsaw and Winona Lake, as well as the towns of Claypool, Pierceton, North Manchester, Sidney and Silver Lake.

A forum will also take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, with candidates for county commissioner and county council positions speaking.
