Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 6:36 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, East Old Road 30 east of Braller Road, Pierceton. Driver: Kimberly S. Carson, 55, South CR 200E, Churubusco. Carson was traveling westbound on Old Road 30, Pierceton, when her vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.
• 12:55 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, West U.S. 30 south of North CR 700W, Atwood. Drivers: Michael Pearce, 63, North Blue Gill Road, Silver Lake; and Stephen R. Snyder, 61, South Kennicott Drive, Arlington Heights, Ill. Pearce was traveling southbound on CR 700W, Atwood, when he crossed the westbound lanes of U.S. 30 and headed across the eastbound lanes of U.S. 30 where his vehicle collided with Snyder’s. Damage up to $25,000.
• 10:39 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, West CR 200N south of North CR 800W, Warsaw. Driver: Abdalla A. Haroun, 65, West 46th Street, Sioux Falls, S.D. Haroun was traveling southbound on North CR 800W, Warsaw. Haroun turned west on West CR 200N, Warsaw, and his vehicle hit a pole and knocked down wires. Damage up to $5,000.

Milford

Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 3:51 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, South Huntington Street south of East Maple Grove, Syracuse. Driver: Vearl D. Turnpaugh, 53, South CR 95E, Bringhurst. Turnpaugh was traveling northbound on Huntington Street, Syracuse, when he applied his vehicle’s brakes to avoid hitting a vehicle in front of him. His vehicle then wrecked. Turnpaugh was treated at the scene for abrasions and later taken to a hospital. Damage under $750

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 3:31 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, East Washington Street north of North Huntington Street, Syracuse. Drivers: Nathaniel K. Boyer, 29, North Indiana Avenue, Syracuse; and Mark A. Warren, 57, CR 29, Syracuse. Boyer and Warren were both traveling northbound on Huntington Street when Warren’s vehicle suddenly stopped in front of Boyer’s. Boyer’s vehicle hit Warren’s. Damage up to $10,000.
• 6:52 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, Huntington Street north of Bowser Road, Syracuse. Drivers: Glenn A. Burkett, 54, South Barbee Drive, Pierceton; and Max L. Richcreek, 70, West 25 Lane, North Webster. Richcreek was traveling northbound on Huntington Street, Syracuse, when he slowed for traffic and his vehicle was rear-ended by Burkett’s vehicle. Damage up to $750.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 9:35 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, East Pope Street east of McClellan Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Bryce M. Pequignot, 22, North Lincoln Park, Warsaw; and Susan K. Bellamy, 60, West SR 14, Silver Lake. Pequignot was traveling westbound on East Pope Street, Warsaw, behind Bellamy when their vehicles collided. Damage up to $5,000.
