INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association announced Thursday a record number of Academic All-State award winners for the 2020 season. The IHSVCA posted 721 recipients, nearly 300 more than the 2019 award list. Part of the boost is a new-high of 234 coaches as part of the membership, to which is part of the requirement for the honor.

Volleyballers must meet IHSVCA requirements of being a senior on the varsity roster, their coach must be part of the IHSVCA, and the player must carry at least a 3.5 GPA. Impressive among the 700-plus athletes is the group as a whole averaged a 3.93 GPA overall.

With such a lengthy list, there was an obviously high amount of area recipients. Those players will be listed by school below, in alphabetical order by school:
