Volleyball Results: Oct. 6

Wawasee 3, West Noble 1
Wawasee picked up its 20th win of the season Tuesday, beating the visiting Chargers 25-11, 25-15, 23-25, 25-15.
The trio of Emma Dippon, Leslie Vazquez and Bailey Mayhew combined for 39 kills to pace the Warrior (20-10) offense. On the backline, Vazquez, Kai Jamora and Elizabeth Miller teamed for 32 digs, Amanda Allen sent up 40 assists and Dylan Konieczny added three aces and two blocks.
Abbi Burelison had seven kills, two blocks and an ace to pace Wawasee (18-5) to a 25-17, 25-22 JV win over the Chargers. Sarah Beer added four digs and three aces and Emma Young tallied 11 assists, five digs and four aces.
Triton 3, Caston 0
Triton also garnered its 20th win of the season with a 25-17, 25-14, 25-22 victory at home against the Comets.
The Viers sisters, Abbey and Addyson, combined for 15 kills and Abbey added four blocks. Emma Hepler had 21 assists, Molly McFarland 18 digs and Kinsey Atkins added eight ups for the 20-10 Trojans, which closed out at 5-2 in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference.
The Triton JV went the distance with Caston, but won 19-25, 25-9, 18-16. Lena Doll’s six kills, Morgan Feldman’s five digs and Lauren Snyder’s 10 assists did the trick for the 12-12 junior Trojans.
Rochester 3, Tippecanoe Valley 1
In the old rivalry, Rochester claimed the high end of four tight games, going to the Zebras in a 22-25, 25-17, 27-25, 25-23 outcome Tuesday in Akron.
Stats for the match were not immediately available. Valley falls to 12-12 on the season and 5-3 in the Three Rivers Conference.
The JV contest went to Valley in a 21-25, 25-19, 18-16 score set.
