WINONA LAKE – Bethany Blackwood was honored as this week’s NCCAA National Defender of the Week for Grace’s women’s soccer team.

Blackwood had a shutout in the Lady Lancers’ only match last week. She made six saves on Saturday to blank Taylor for her second shutout of the season.

The Lady Lancers (3-0-1, 2-0-1 Crossroads League) are currently the No. 14-ranked team in the NAIA. Grace welcomes No. 24 Spring Arbor on Wednesday for a Top-25 clash. The kickoff at 1st Source Bank Field is at 7 p.m.
