Goshen 5, Wawasee 0
The Warriors found no success on their home courts on Tuesday night, dropping all five matches from their guests from Goshen. The Redhawks took all five contests in straight sets.
Wawasee will have a chance to redeem themselves on Wednesday when they host West Noble in a match rescheduled from Aug. 28.
Plymouth 3, NorthWood 2
The breaks just didn’t go the Panthers’ way in an NLC showdown with Plymouth. The team found winners on the top two singles courts as Ben Vincent and Brady Chupp took down their opposites in straight sets. On the three singles court, Panther senior Treyton Martin fell in three sets, 3-6, 7-5, 3-6. The one doubles pairing of Gage Gongwer/Chaz Yoder also fell in three, winning the first set 7-5 but dropping the next two by identical 3-6 scores. Brad Demitruk and Isaac Roberts lost the two dubs match in straight sets, including a second set tiebreaker.
Tippecanoe Valley 3, Triton 2
The Vikings took three courts in a non-conference matchup with Triton. Valley’s boys took both doubles matchups with Annakin Pettit/Ethan Hartman defeating Riby Linville and Chandler Westafer three and three, while the second pairing of Cooper Walls/Wyatt Reiter beating Chase King/Damon Kuntz three and four.
On the singles courts, Trojan ace John Garner defeated Payton Mills in three sets while his Triton teammate Connor Large beat Dylan Neese in two. On the three singles court, Owen Kirchenstein defeated Cole McKinney to ensure the Vikings’ team win.
