SYRACUSE — A local lake is being featured as one of the options on a survey to discover Indiana’s best lake.

Visit Indiana has launched a series of three Best of Indiana surveys, including Best Indiana Lake, Best Indiana Donut Shop and Best Indiana Unique Sleep.

Lake Wawasee in Syracuse is featured as one of 20 Indiana lakes up for the title. Other lakes competing for the title include Geist Reservoir in Indianapolis, Lake James in Angola, Lake Monroe in Bloomington and Lake Shafer in Monticello.

Nearby Rise ‘N Roll in Nappanee has a nomination for Best Donut Shop. Charley Creek Inn located in Wabash is nominated for Best Indiana Unique Sleep.

Voters may choose up to five choices every day in each of the categories. Voting ends on Monday, Nov. 2, and winners being announced Thursday, Nov. 12.
