NorthWood Kicks With State’s Elite

NorthWood competed in yet another big tournament, swinging for the sticks at the Hall of Fame Invite at the Trophy Club in Lebanon.

In a loaded field that included over a dozen ranked clubs, NorthWood finished 12th with a 361 in a grouping that had six teams finish within 13 strokes of one another.

Breanna Goss led the Panthers with a 79, tying a program record by hitting all 18 fairways in regulation. Goss’ finish landed her tied for 13th overall in the star-studded field.

Cybil Stillson shot an 84, Riley Kitson had a 97 and Abbie Richner posted 101 for the scoring totals for NorthWood. Bella Sechrist was the fifth score at 134.

Evansville North shot a 307 to win the team title, besting Carmel by six strokes and host Westfield’s 324. Carmel’s Sydney Longstreth and teammate Katie Kuc both fired 74s for medalist honors. Evansville North’s Chloe Johnson and Columbus North”s Nathaly Muncicha each shot 75.
