Milford Man Arrested For Criminal Recklessness, Intimidation

MILFORD — A Milford man was recently arrested after officers responded to a shots fired incident.
Casey Dwen Ferguson, Jr., 27, 602 W. Section St., Milford, is charged with criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon and intimidation, both level 6 felonies.
On June 6, a Milford Police officer went to a residence to investigate a report of shots being fired. The officer spoke with a woman at the scene, who said Ferguson fired her handgun while located partially out of a vehicle.
According to court documents, the location of the incident was in a residential area with multiple individuals outside at the time of the event. The woman said the incident was a result of an earlier altercation between her and Ferguson.
On June 8, a Milford Police officer was approached by a second woman who said she received threatening text messages from Ferguson. The messages were described as threatening to kill the woman for calling the police after the shots fired incident.
Ferguson was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Aug. 10, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
