Oakwood Fine Arts Festival — It’s a Go!

SYRACUSE — Chautauqua-Wawasee is holding the sixth annual Oakwood Fine Arts Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15. A special event plan related to COVID-19, was submitted and approved by the Kosciusko County Health Department.
Due to the Governor’s Executive Order, masks are required and attendees will practice 6-foot social distancing. This year’s festival will feature 23 artists, which is fewer than prior years.
In addition to artists, there will be one food vendor, The Rove, along with Huckleberry Winery, Naomi’s candies and Joe’s Ice Cream. Outdoor tables and seating are available.
The artists expressed the importance of shows like Oakwood’s, saying they are critically important to the artists who rely on them as selling opportunities. With most of the large shows canceled, they are excited about Oakwood’s show because Oakwood Resort’s beautiful outdoor venue.
Also nearby is Oakwood Resort’s Pier and Back Porch restaurant which offers a full menu with both indoor and outdoor lakefront dining. Attendance is free. Ample parking is available.
