THE YMCA HAS YOU COVERED THIS SCHOOL YEAR!
The 2020-2021 school year is right around the corner and with it comes a lot of changes and uncertainty. In response, the Kosciusko Community YMCA has been hard at work improving and creating a series of School Programs, available to everyone in the community, that will help you and your family be ready for whatever this school year brings.

The YMCA’s 2020-2021 School Programs include Kids’ Club Before and After School Care, E-Learning Day Camps, School Break Camps, Snow Day Camps, School Cancellation Day Camps, and an Early Learning Pre-School. These programs will provide children with low staff to student ratios, backup tablets for e-learning days, and a safe setting to learn and play that will help assure that children have the attention and resources they need to succeed at high levels.

KIDS’ CLUB BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE
Kids’ Club is built on a curriculum of arts and humanities, health and nutrition, STEM, college and career readiness, and leadership development. Each day there is time set aside for homework with Kids’ Club Caregivers always there to give your child the attention they need to succeed. Each day there is also time set aside for group games and activities to keep your children active and healthy.

Kids’ Club is offered at Claypool, Eisenhower, Harrison, Jefferson, Lincoln, Madison, Washington, Pierceton, Mentone, and Leesburg Elementary Schools. In general, each program site opens as early as 6:00 AM and closes no later than 6:00 PM. (Click the “more information” link below for school times)

E-LEARNING, SCHOOL BREAK, SNOW DAY AND SCHOOL CANCELLATION DAY CAMPS
Throughout the school year, there will be closings for many reasons which is why the YMCA is committed to being the go-to place for your children during these days. All E-Learning, School Break, Snow Day, and School Cancellation Camps will be held from 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM at the Parkview Warsaw YMCA and will be available for all students entering Kindergarten through 6th grade.

EARLY LEARNING PRE-SCHOOL
The Kosciusko Community YMCA is also bringing its Early Learning Preschool Program back for the second year! This amazing program, for children ages 3 to 5, is available to both YMCA Members and the community and is focused on building foundations in language arts, mathematics, social-emotional skills, play, science, social studies, creative arts, and your child’s growth and physical health.
