Reminder Of Upcoming Election-Related Dates

WARSAW — Kosciusko County Clerk Ann Torpy has issued a reminder of upcoming election related dates:
- Voter registration ends on Oct. 5, 2020. Any voter who needs to register or update their registration needs to have it done by 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 5, 2020. Register at www.indianavoters.com, the BMV or in the clerk’s office between 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Any voter registration application post marked after Oct. 5, 2020, will not be processed until Dec. 1, 2020.
- Absentee Voting by Mail: Applications can now be submitted for the 2020 general election. Mailing of the ballots begins on Sept. 14, 2020, and ends on Oct. 22, 2020. Oct. 22, 2020, is the LAST day an application can be received by the Absentee Voting Board to receive a ballot in time for the election. Voted mailed ballots need to be in the possession of the County Election Board by noon on Nov. 3, 2020, to be counted.
- In Person Early Voting begins Oct. 6, 2020, to Oct. 30, 2020, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The LAST day to vote early in person will be Nov. 2, 2020; 8 a.m. until noon. Early voting will also be held on the final two Saturdays before election day: Oct. 24 and Oct. 31, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Early voting will be held in the Kosciusko County Justice Building, 121 N. Lake St., on the main floor.
- Polling locations will be posted on the clerk’s website and at www.indianavoters.com once they have been confirmed.
