Freshmen Orientation At WCHS Is Aug. 11
News Release
WARSAW – Warsaw Community High School will hold Freshmen Orientation on Tuesday, Aug. 11 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Warsaw Community High School.
Students are asked to enter through the PAC doors. All incoming freshmen students are invited to attend. Parents are advised that only students may enter the building. There will be a digital version of the program for parents and students this year with important information regarding the school year from key school figures, including 9th-grade level Principal, Brett Eberly.
Students will also receive their iPad at this event as well as information to purchase insurance on that device. Insurance is a valuable asset to have in case of an accident. iPad insurance for freshmen will be $25. Please note, this will be the only time to pick up iPads before August 21.
Students will also have a chance to tour the school and walk their class schedules. This is an important evening designed to help students and their families make a smooth transition into WCHS.
Warsaw Community Schools would like to offer bus transportation to students who can not get to and from Warsaw Community High School for this event. A Google form for those requesting transportation is available on the WCHS website under the student menu for the Freshman Class of 2024 until Aug. 6.
