LaVern Wesley Miller, 82, Wakarusa, formerly of New Paris and Goshen, died 5:45 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2020 at his home.

He was born May 26, 1938, in Seattle, Wash., to Wesley and Ellen (Stockman) Miller. On May 26, 1962, he married Lois Ann (Blocher) Miller.

Surviving are his wife, Lois Ann Miller, Wakarusa, children, Mark (Rita) Miller, Goshen, Marlene (Bryon) Brovont, Goshen, grandchildren, Travis Brovont, Goshen, Cody Brovont, Terre Haute and a sister, Karen (Dave) Masters, Port Orchard, Washington.

Preceding him in death are his parents, son, Terry Miller, two brothers, Dale Miller & Keith Miller, three sisters, Doris Asher, Velma Isdell & Jean Burch.

LaVern retired from Zimmer Medical, Warsaw, after 20 years. He was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 26, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 27, at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, corner of CR 7 and CR 40, Goshen. Home Ministry will officiate. Burial will follow in the Old German Baptist Brethren Church Cemetery.
