North Webster Library Silent Auction Begins Monday

NORTH WEBSTER – North Webster Community Public Library will host a silent fundraising auction starting July 20 through July 31.
The silent auction will be held during normal library hours in the event room of the new library facility located on the corner of East North Street and SR 13, south of the North Webster Community Center.
A wide variety of donated, handcrafted, and gently used items will be available for purchase by the highest bidder. Items include furniture, home décor items, artwork, collectibles, gift baskets, knitted goods, jewelry, electronics and more. The winning bidders will be notified by phone. Proceeds will go to the new library building and sustainability fund.
In other news, the Youth Department invites children and teens who have been keeping track of their reading hours this summer to bring in their reading records in exchange for a prize bag filled with prizes, treats and coupons. Any amount of reading qualified. When turning in reading hours, be sure to include the child’s first and last name, age and gender. If your child has not been tracking their reading, it is not too late to get started and earn a prize bag.
The library staff invites the public to visit the new North Webster Library facility. Library hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday. To ensure the health and safety of staff and patrons, the library is following Federal CDC guidelines and strongly encourages patrons to wear facial coverings and social distance while inside the library.
