WARSAW – First responders responded to an accident involving one vehicle and one person on Reed Street, just north of Center Street in Warsaw on Monday, July 13.
Just across the street from the old Freedom Express, now “Spirit” gas station, a red Corvette apparently had lost control and ran into the side of a house. Warsaw Police Department, Warsaw Fire, and EMS responded to the accident. The driver had sustained a few big cuts to his head, according to an officer. The driver was being treated on scene for his injuries.
Another officer with the Warsaw Police Department said they are unsure of how the accident occurred, but cited that there were skid marks that indicated a loss of control. A witness said she heard screeching followed by the loud bang of the vehicle hitting the house.
