Animal Welfare League’s “Pets of the Week”
News Release
WARSAW – The Animal Welfare League presents its “Pets of the Week,” featuring Batch the dog and Barbee the cat.
Watch out, we got an incoming hug from our resident cuddler Batch! Batch is a five-year-old, neutered male, Shepherd mix. He loves to have his gorgeous red and white coat brushed and he weighs 33 pounds. Batch is a laid back, happy-go-lucky, dog who gets along with people of all ages. He is very well mannered and is hoping for a nice family to adopt him and take him for walks in the sunshine. If you have other pets, he would like to meet them. When Batch came to the AWL, he tested positive for heart-worms. We immediately started him on a monthly preventative and after raising enough funds got him treated. Batch now has a clean bill of health and is ready to find his “furever” home! Make an appointment to visit Batch today!
Batch’s adoption fee is $130.
Barbee the cat is a working girl looking for a nine to five job. She is a one-year-old, spayed female, Domestic Short Hair mix. She has a brown and black coat and weighs seven pounds. Barbee is an independent girl looking for a loving home where she can come and go as she pleases. She would make an excellent mouser. Barbee can be a little shy but she does have a sweet and gentle side. She enjoys being petted and stroked. Barbee would prefer to be an only pet. Make an appointment to meet Barbee today!
Barbee’s adoption fee is $70.
