KOSCIUSKO – Fireworks are set to take place around the area both on July 3, and July 4 in celebration of independence day.

July 3 Fireworks;

• Syracuse Lake starting at dusk.
  Webster Lake starting at dusk.

July 4 Fireworks;

• Sechrist Lake starting at dusk.
  Chapman Lake starting at 10 p.m.
  Tippecanoe Lake starting at 10:30 p.m.
  Winona Lake starting at 10 p.m.
  Wawasee Lake starting at dusk.

Other Events:

• Akron will be holding a special decorating event as opposed to having fireworks. The Akron Chamber of Commerce asks residents and businesses of Akron to decorate their front yards, porches, or storefronts for the 4th of July. A float of judges will parade through the town to award the BEST DECORATED Home & Business. The event will be live-streamed to the Akron 4th of July Facebook page from the judge’s float.
